Before coming to RDA Mary worked as a Funding Adviser for the Charities Information Bureau, giving advice to groups across Wiltshire and Bath & North East Somerset. During her 7 years there she dealt with many different funding organisations including the European Social Fund. Prior to this Mary held various job, mostly training related, for a diverse selection of groups, e.g. teenagers in danger of being excluded from school, people with disabilities and the long-term unemployed.

Mary moved to Wiltshire from Plymouth in 2003 when her husband left the Royal Navy after 32 years. For the first time in their married life they (she!) chose where they would like to live and happily for us it was Devizes.

Loves: Husband, son and daughter. Family (mum, four sisters and three brothers), reading, writing fiction and walking.

Hates: People shouting when they use their mobile phones in public.
