
Jonathan Holland
Farming Consultant
Jonathan Holland, formerly a Partner of Littlecote Farm Partners and more recently, Operations Manager for Farmcare Ltd. prior to joining James Miles-Hobbs. Jonathan has over 12 years involvement with large scale contract farming and has overseen the farming interests of many individual clients giving him a high level of experience in arable farming operations. Jonathan farms in his own right and believes that farming can retain profitability alongside the numerous environmental schemes that are open to farmers under the new regulations.
After leaving Cirencester in 1994, Jonathan spent some time in India and Kenya studying tea production. On his return he became involved in a family owned soft fruit business and implemented a successful supermarket link between the farm and a well known buyer. Jonathan has also instigated several other successful diversification projects including a farm shop enterprise and more recently, a livery yard conversion of redundant cattle buildings.
Jonathan is a past local NFU Branch Chairman and won the 2006 Best Farmed Farm competition at the Royal County of Berkshire show.
Jonathan is married with three children and loves shooting, his aeroplane, Fearne Cotton, curry and frosty mornings.
Hates: Dancing, undercooked roast pork and drivers who go over mini-roundabouts.
